Installing DSTAT Installing DSTAT1. Insert the DSTAT CDROM in your computer's CDROM drive. The
installation program should auto-start (figure 1.), if it does not, follow
instructions 2 - 5, otherwise proceed to step 6.
2. Click on the Start

3. Click on RUN
4. In the space provided type:
A:
SETUP and press the Enter Key
Or
B: SETUP and press the Enter
Key
5. Click on the OK Button
6. The installation program will default to
C:\CIA\DSTAT. You can change the installation directory by clicking on the
Browse button and following selecting the desired drive and directory.
(Note: If you are using other CIA applications, it is advisable to install DSTAT
under the existing CIA directory.) Specific instructions on where to
install DSTAT maybe found in the Company Specific Instructions portion of this
manual.
7. After selecting
the desired drive and directory, click on the Next button and follow the on
screen instructions.
About Installing on a Network:
If you wish to run
DSTAT on a network, allowing for multi-user access, you must install DSTAT from
a PC actively running on the network. Depending on your network setup, you
may also need to be logged in as “Network Administrator” or “Supervisor” in
order to install DSTAT onto a network drive.
To add access to DSTAT from additional network
workstations:
1. You must perform an install on each desired
workstation.
2. Insert the CDROM and follow the “Installing DSTAT”
instructions.
3. Be sure that with each installation, you install DSTAT
to the exact same drive and directory. Otherwise you will have multiple
copies of the program.
